INDONESIAN NAVY VISIT IN THE CONTEXT OF LEARNING ABOUT THE SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

In October 2025, the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) conducted a visit to PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products to learn about the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products, a subsidiary of SEI Japan, has implemented a Safety Management System based on SEI Japan standards as well as safety standards in accordance with the regulations of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

During the visit, the Indonesian Navy learned about various aspects, including workplace safety procedures (SOPs), hazard identification and risk assessment methods, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety procedures in hazardous chemical storage areas.

The activities included not only discussions in the meeting room but also site visits to observe the real-world implementation of the safety management system at PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products.
