Inauguration of the solar panel project
PT. Sumiden Serasi Wire Products ( SSWP ) is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric Group located in Bogor Regency - West Java. SSWP inaugurated the use of solar panels on June 13, 2025 with a capacity of 1.94 MWp.
With the inauguration of this solar panel project, it further confirms that SSWP has demonstrated a commitment to sustainability (use of zero carbon emission energy that can have an impact on the environment).
We are considering 2nd investment to cover rest of the actory and after the 2nd investment installed in 2026-2027, total capacity will become around 4MWp.
This project is used and supported by Joint Crediting Mechanism so called JCM*.
*Japanese government establishes and implements the JCM in order both to appropriately evaluate contributions from japan to GHG emission reductions or removals in a quantitative manner achieved through diffusion of de-carbonizing technologies, products, systems, services and infrastructure as well as implementation of mitigation action in Indonesia, and to use them to achieve Japan's emission reduction target.?
Tokyo Century located in Tokyo, Japan, applied JCM on behalf of SSWP.
