FORUM GROUP DISCUSSION (FGD) UNDERSTANDING OF CERTIFICATION SCHEME FOR PRESTRESSED STEEL WIRE PRODUCTS
In order to improve understanding of the implementation of SNI conformity assessment for Prestressed Steel Wire which has been treated as mandatory, on September 30, 2024, PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products held a Forum Discussion Group (FGD) on Understanding the Prestressed Steel Wire Product Certification Scheme which took place at PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products.
This FGD activity was attended by the Assesment Bodies consisting of Representatives from LSPro (Lembaga Sertifikasi Produk) and also the Testing Laboratory that has been appointed by the Minister of Industry in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Industry No. 2668 of 2024.
In this activity, the provisions in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Industry No. 15 of 2024 were re-presented by P4SI team (Pusat Perumusan, Penerapan dan Pemberlakuan Standarisasi Industri) and direct presentation and practice regarding testing methods for Prestressed Steel Wire products presented by PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products Testing Laboratory team.
This FGD activity is a form of trust from the government through the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia towards PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products in terms of testing activities for the implementation of Mandatory SNI for Prestressed Steel Wire, so that it can further strengthen the reputation of PT Sumiden Serasi Wire Products as one of the key players in the Prestressed Steel Wire manufacturing industry in Indonesia.
